Bentley unveils Continental GT tribute to mark 80 years of Crewe factory

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of its Crewe manufacturing plant, Bentley’s bespoke division, Mulliner, has created a unique Continental GT Azure. The vehicle serves as a tribute to the 1946 Bentley Mark VI, which was the first model produced at the Crewe facility.

The commemorative model features a color scheme inspired by the original Mark VI, utilizing Barnato Green with a Mulliner Black roof to recreate the historic bicolor look. While the exterior incorporates modern elements such as 22-inch black wheels with a bright machined finish and carbon fiber styling specifications, the interior aims to evoke a classic Bentley atmosphere. The cabin features Cricket Ball red leather paired with Beluga leather, walnut wood trim inspired by the Mark VI dashboard, and Grand Black piano-finish surfaces.

The new Continental GT was displayed alongside the original Mark VI from the brand’s Heritage Collection during an event held at the British Motor Museum.
