Bentley unveils first all‑electric Torcal SUV ahead of September debut

Bentley Motors has prepared its first fully electric production model, the Torcal, a compact luxury SUV that blends the brand’s historic design language with modern electric technology. A camouflaged prototype was photographed on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, showing a smaller footprint than the Bentayga and positioned for urban drivers. The vehicle features Bentley’s new “Floating Diamond Grille,” a reinterpretation of the classic radiator grille that now serves as a visual signature rather than an air intake.

The Torcal’s interior will combine advanced digital displays with handcrafted materials, including bespoke hand‑cut crystal objects created with Cumbria Crystal in England’s Lake District. Built on Porsche’s Premium Electric Platform, the model is set to be officially revealed in London on 23 September, marking Bentley’s transition into the electric era while preserving its heritage of craftsmanship and luxury.
