Bentley unveils new Supersports luxury model

Bentley has introduced the new Supersports, a model designed for driving purists. Based on the Continental GT Speed, the Supersports moves away from hybrid technology by removing the plug-in-hybrid system and all-wheel drive in favor of a more analog driving experience.

The vehicle features a 4.0-liter V8 engine equipped with enhanced turbos and updated software, producing 490 kW (666 hp). While this offers a more focused mechanical feel, the total system output is lower than the 585 kW (782 hp) provided by the previous plug-in-hybrid model.

The Supersports is priced at 420,000 euros, which is 80,000 euros more than the previous top-tier GT Speed. Despite the higher price and lower total power output on paper, the model emphasizes aesthetic and mechanical refinements, including a laser-cut full aluminum grille and carbon accents.
