Bentley unveils Torcal, its most powerful electric production vehicle
Bentley has unveiled the Torcal, which the company identifies as its most powerful production vehicle to date. The electric grand tourer delivers 653 kW of system power and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds.
Built on the Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the Torcal features a 113-kWh battery designed to provide a range of over 600 kilometers according to WLTP standards. The vehicle supports high-speed DC charging of up to 400 kW, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in less than 20 minutes under ideal conditions.
Despite its high performance and weight of approximately 2,700 kg, Bentley has engineered the vehicle to maintain its traditional focus on luxury and effortless grand touring. The car utilizes air suspension and active anti-roll stabilization to manage its weight and ensure a refined driving experience.
