Bentín and Zepita reach Tacna women's football final

Bentín Tacna Heroica and Glorioso Zepita have secured their places in the final of the 2026 Tacna Women's Promotion League. The finalists were determined following semifinal matches held at the Jorge Basadre stadium.

Glorioso Zepita advanced after a scoreless 90-minute draw against Vendaval, eventually winning 6-5 in a penalty shootout. Bolivian footballer Lucerito Bravo credited the team's effort for overcoming the difficult match.

In the second semifinal, Bentín Tacna Heroica secured a dominant 7-0 victory over Defensor Untac. Goals were scored by Araceli Santillán, Nathaly Valdivia, and Lucía Cárdenas in the first half, with Santillán and Cárdenas adding more in the second half, alongside goals from Taix Reátegui and Ruth Callacondo.
