Benue PDP condemns continuous destruction of campaign materials

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State has expressed serious concern regarding the ongoing destruction and vandalism of its campaign materials. The party reported that its banners, billboards, and other properties are being targeted across the state, with the most recent incident involving a destroyed billboard in Ajio, Ishangev-Ya.

Party spokesman Bright Yima Antyo described these actions as a “dangerous affront to democratic values” and an attempt to prevent political parties from freely canvassing for votes. The PDP has called on security agencies to investigate these incidents and bring those responsible to justice, while also urging the state government and political leaders to prevent actions that could increase community tensions.
