Beny17 releases new single written in Acireale juvenile detention center

The artist Beny17 has released a new pop-rap single titled ‘Notte Loca’, produced by Maurizio Musumeci (Dinastia). The track, which features reggaeton influences, was written while the artist was held at the Juvenile Detention Center in Acireale.

Beny17, originally from Salina in the Aeolian Islands, developed his musical skills through workshops provided by the project ‘Presidio Culturale Permanente’, run by the organization CCO – Crisi Come Opportunità. The artist stated that writing serves as a way to resist his current circumstances, allowing him to imagine life outside the facility through his music.
