beOnd signs MoU with Aeroprime Group for Indian cargo expansion
Premium leisure airline beOnd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aeroprime Group to explore the development of its cargo operations in India. The agreement aims to evaluate Aeroprime’s potential appointment as beOnd’s Cargo General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) in the country.
The partnership is designed to support beOnd’s expansion strategy by establishing a commercial framework for its cargo business alongside its existing passenger operations. Aeroprime intends to leverage its experience in the Indian aviation and logistics sectors to provide sales, distribution, and ground-operation coordination.
beOnd CEO Tero Taskila stated that India is a high-priority market and that cargo is central to building a sustainable ecosystem for the airline. The collaboration seeks to build relationships with freight forwarders, shippers, and other supply-chain stakeholders to tap into India’s growing air-freight market, which is driven by sectors such as e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and electronics.
