BeOne Medicines Italy appoints Paola Coco as Medical Affairs Director

BeOne Medicines Italy has appointed Paola Coco as its new Medical Affairs Director for Italy. In this capacity, Coco will join the company’s Leadership Team to assist in defining and implementing corporate strategy.

Coco is a medical oncologist with over twenty years of experience in clinical practice and the pharmaceutical industry. Her professional background includes clinical and research work at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano, followed by leadership roles at Roche and Novartis. Most recently, she served as the Country Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Medical Affairs for Novartis Italia.

Marco Sartori, General Manager of BeOne Medicines Italy, stated that Coco’s expertise in oncology and hematology will strengthen the company’s scientific focus and support its growth ambitions in the Italian market.
