BeOne Medicines reaches agreement with U.S. government on cancer drug pricing

BeOne Medicines has entered into a voluntary agreement with the U.S. government to expand patient access to innovative cancer treatments. Under the GENEROUS (GENErating cost Reductions fOr U.S. Medicaid) Model, the company has committed to pricing future FDA-approved products in alignment with other major developed markets.

In exchange for this pricing commitment, BeOne has secured an exemption from Section 232 pharmaceutical tariffs. This exemption recognizes the company’s significant investments in domestic manufacturing. BeOne plans to invest approximately $300 million to expand its manufacturing and research facilities in Hopewell, New Jersey, an initiative expected to create around 120 full-time jobs. This expansion brings the company’s total U.S. investment to over $1 billion.
