Inter Milan president Marotta discusses Treble ambitions at Gentleman Award

At the 31st edition of the Premio Gentleman Fair Play held in Milan, several notable figures from Italian football were recognized. Andrea Fulignati, goalkeeper for Cremonese and former Empoli player, received the Piermario Morosini Gentleman Award. The honor follows his composed reaction during a match against Frosinone last season, where he continued playing calmly after a firecracker exploded near him.

Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta also attended the event, where he discussed the club’s ambitions for the upcoming season. Addressing the possibility of achieving a ‘Treble’, Marotta stated, “It is a dream and dreams can come true. The duty is to do well, the right is to dream.” He also noted the unique nature of this year’s league calendar and the importance of the club’s behind-the-scenes staff in maintaining player readiness during experimental scheduling breaks.
