TeamViewer shares plunge following lowered revenue guidance

TeamViewer shares fell by nearly 27 percent after the software provider announced it no longer expects revenue growth for 2026. The company cited delayed contract signings with major clients and general economic uncertainty as primary reasons for the downward revision. Previously, the company had projected revenue to remain at least at previous year levels or grow by up to 3 percent, but it now anticipates a currency-adjusted decline of one to two percent.

Analysts have expressed concerns regarding the company’s ability to maintain growth amidst increasing competition from artificial intelligence. MWB Research analyst Harald Hof lowered his recommendation to “Hold” and reduced his price target from 8.90 euros to 7 euros, noting that the recovery of growth appears increasingly uncertain. DZ Bank’s Armin Kremser also noted that while growth among major clients remains in an acceptable range, customer churn continues to weigh on sentiment.

The stock market volatility following TeamViewer’s announcement also impacted other software sector companies, including SAP and Nemetschek.
