Beretta celebrates 500 years of manufacturing with special editions

The firearms manufacturer Beretta is celebrating its 500th anniversary, marking five centuries since its foundation on October 3, 1526. To commemorate the milestone, the company has released the ‘1526 Parallelo’, a unique pair of 12-gauge sidelock parallel shotguns. Inspired by the fluid movement of water and the design of the Beretta 486 by Marc Newson, these firearms feature a hand-finished mirror polish and a gold anniversary logo.

Various industry publications, including Beccacce che Passione and Armi e Tiro, are participating in the celebrations. These magazines have released special October 2026 editions featuring the Beretta anniversary logo on their covers. The publications are providing coverage ranging from technical reviews of modern firearms and historical retrospectives of Beretta’s technological development to studies on hunting bird populations and migratory patterns.
