Bergamo celebrates patron saint Sant’Alessandro and local cultural festivals
The city and diocese of Bergamo are celebrating the feast of their patron saint, Sant’Alessandro, with a series of cultural and religious events. The celebrations include a bell concert, a prayerful walk toward the Cathedral in Bergamo Alta, and a solemn Mass presided over by Bishop Francesco Beschi.
In addition to the religious festivities, the Bergamo province is hosting various cultural activities. These include the International Folklore Festival at ChorusLife, featuring traditional music and dance from nations such as Georgia and Paraguay, as well as the Madonna della Castagna festival and the Casoncello Festival.
