Bergamo e-Brt infrastructure pole damaged in vehicle accident

An incident involving the e-Brt electric bus infrastructure in Bergamo, initially suspected to be an act of vandalism, has been identified as an accident. A camera pole monitoring the electric bus entrance near the Morali stop was knocked down on Friday, August 7.

After reviewing video footage, transport company Atb confirmed the pole was struck by a vehicle from the company Aprica during a glass collection maneuver. The company stated that the incident was initially treated as vandalism because there was no immediate report to Atb or law enforcement, and no visible collision marks were found on the pole. Aprica contacted Atb offices on Saturday morning regarding the matter.
