Bergamo hosts international trade fairs for hardware and sustainable tourism

The city of Bergamo will host two significant international trade fairs in the coming years. The International Hardware Fair Italy is scheduled for May 5–6, 2027, at the Fiera di Bergamo. This third edition will feature an expanded international focus, including a new dedicated gardening area and a 'Buyer Point' for business meetings between exhibitors and major specialized retail chains. The event will also include the 'Briconight' networking evening in collaboration with the Made4diy association.

Additionally, the 11th edition of TERRAE, an international fair dedicated to sustainable and slow tourism, will take place from November 20–22, 2026. The event aims to promote authentic travel experiences, focusing on destinations, local traditions, and communities outside of mainstream tourist routes. This follows a period of growth for the Bergamo province, which recorded over 1.5 million arrivals in 2025, with more than 54% being international visitors from countries such as Poland, Germany, and France.
