Bergdoktor fan festival draws thousands to Wilder Kaiser

Fans of the long-running ZDF television series ‘Der Bergdoktor’ gathered at the Wilder Kaiser region for a large-scale fan festival. Up to 5,000 people attended the event held in Hochsöll, despite cold and wet weather.

Cast members including Hans Sigl, Mark Keller, Monika Baumgartner, Ronja Forcher, and Frederic Brossier participated in the festivities. The event featured a comedy performance by Sigl and Keller, musical performances by Forcher, and opportunities for fans to interact with the stars through quizzes, selfies, and giveaways.

The series, which has been broadcasting on ZDF since 2008, is currently filming its 20th season. The show is set in the Austrian region encompassing the municipalities of Ellmau, Going, Söll, and Scheffau.
