Bergen police arrest four for deprivation of liberty

Police in Bergen have arrested four individuals on suspicion of complicity in the deprivation of liberty of one person. The operation took place at a residence in the Solheimsviken area.

Authorities have launched a high-priority investigation to secure evidence. Police attorney Elise Kleiven stated that while the investigation is in its early stages, the charges are serious. She noted that the police are currently evaluating whether to seek pre-trial detention for the suspects.

Law enforcement officials have indicated that there is no danger to the general public and that the situation is under control. Further arrests have not been ruled out as the investigation continues.
