Berhan Şimşek's former chauffeur linked to İBB investigation informant

Investigations into the social security (SGK) records of Mustafa Torul, the former chauffeur for Berhan Şimşek, have revealed connections to companies involved in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) investigation.

Şimşek, who recently resigned from the CHP Central Executive Board (MYK), is facing scrutiny after Torul was found to be registered as an employee for various private companies while serving as her chauffeur. One such company is a catering firm belonging to Bilfen Schools.

Of particular interest is the connection to 3K Organizasyon ve Reklam. The owner of this company, Rauf Cem Istrancalı, was previously arrested as part of the İBB investigation but was released after providing statements under an effective repentance agreement. Istrancalı’s statements reportedly implicated the İBB Advertising Directorate and İBB Kültür AŞ. Additionally, police raids on 3K Organizasyon previously uncovered stamps belonging to multiple different companies within the firm's cash register.
