Berisso hosts 49th Provincial Immigrant Festival

The 49th Provincial Immigrant Festival is currently being held in Berisso, Argentina. Despite rainy weather, the event has attracted large crowds to the gastronomic courtyard, artisan walk, and various community festivals.

The celebration, organized by the Association of Foreign Entities and the Municipality of Berisso, features traditional dances and typical dishes from various immigrant communities. The festival schedule includes the presentation of Youth Cultural Representatives and will continue through October 11.

A planned visit by goldsmith Juan Carlos Pallarols, who was intended to present the 'Chalice of Peace' for Pope Leo XIV, has been suspended due to scheduling issues. No new date for his visit has been confirmed. The festival will conclude with the election of cultural ambassadors and a final parade.
