Police in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, are urging residents to keep their doors locked following a bizarre incident involving a stranger. On the evening of Saturday, September 5, a homeowner allowed an unknown individual into their residence to use the bathroom.

According to the Berkeley Heights Police Department, the man subsequently turned off the bathroom lights and attempted to hide from both the homeowner and responding officers.
