On 25 July an Islamist attacker drove a van into the crowd at Berlin’s Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade, killing a woman and injuring 31 people. Police shot the attacker dead in Berlin‑Spandau the following day.
Green Party spokesperson Marcel Emmerich has repeatedly demanded that Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt provide the comprehensive chronology of the authorities’ actions that he promised to the Bundestag. As of mid‑August the chronology has not been delivered, and Emmerich warned that the missing record hampers the investigation.
