Berlin cultural landmarks see activity with Prater-Galerie reopening and Panoramapunkt views

The Prater-Galerie, a municipal art space in Berlin-Pankow founded in 1967, is scheduled to reopen this October following a seven-year period of displacement and renovation delays. The reopening will feature an exhibition titled ‘Courage: Schwestern im Geiste’, which brings together works by female artists from Eastern Europe and East Berlin, including Magdalena Jetelová, Natalia Vatsadze, and Yevgenia Belorusets.

Additionally, the Panoramapunkt at Potsdamer Platz continues to serve as a major tourist attraction in Berlin. Located in the Kollhoff-Tower, the observation deck offers views of landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. The site includes an exhibition titled ‘BERLINER BLICKE auf den Potsdamer Platz’ and utilizes one of Europe’s fastest elevators to transport visitors to the 24th and 25th floors.
