Berlin highlights ferry routes and waterfront spots for summer tourists

BVG promotes using its ferry network for short summer getaways, recommending three routes. The F10 links Wannsee and Alt‑Kladow across the Havel with hourly service and seasonal timetables. The historic F11 connects Baumschulenweg and Oberschöneweide, running every 10–20 minutes. Around Müggelsee, the F23 brings passengers to the Spreewiesen, while the F24 offers a manually‑rowed boat service. All lines are barrier‑free and accommodate bicycles.

A complementary guide lists eleven popular spots along the Spree, including Monbijoupark, the Buchkantine café in Moabit, Cap Rivi beer garden, the terrace of Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Inselgarten on the Island of Youth, and the floating Badeschiff pool, providing cafés, cultural venues and leisure activities for summer visitors.
