Berlin hosts independent school market and student traffic safety event

Berlin is hosting several educational and safety-focused events for students and families. The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Freier Schulen Berlin (AGFS Berlin) will organize the ‘Day of Independent Schools’ on September 13, 2026. This education market features approximately 280 independent schools offering information on school placements and job opportunities. Senator Katharina Günther-Wünsch is serving as the patron for the event.

Additionally, the fifth annual ‘Sichtbar mobil zur Schule’ (Visible Mobile to School) action day will take place at STATION Berlin. Under the theme ‘Traveling by Bus and Train,’ the event aims to teach students how to navigate road traffic and public transportation safely and independently. The venue, STATION Berlin, will provide a sheltered environment for various practical learning activities and organizational participation.
