Berlin hosts major art exhibitions and municipal gallery week

Berlin is hosting several major art events in late 2026. The Kunstwoche der Kommunalen Galerien (Municipal Galleries Art Week) features 44 exhibitions across 36 city galleries. The festival, which runs until October 11, showcases works from over 150 artists and offers free admission to all locations. Highlights include guided tours through various districts and a 'YOUNG' program offering workshops in photography, sound, and collage for children and youth.

Additionally, the Kunstsupermarkt is opening a sales exhibition at Bikini Berlin in Charlottenburg starting October 15, 2026. The exhibition will run until January 16, 2027, and features over 2,500 original works from 90 artists representing 16 countries. To make original art more accessible, the event utilizes a fixed-price model with works starting at 69 euros.
