Berlin hosts second annual Chili Pepper Festival

The Berlin Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual Chili Pepper Festival in downtown Berlin on August 22. The event, scheduled from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., aims to support local farmers, vendors, and restaurants involved in the spicy food industry.

Activities include live music from the Hot Sauce Band and a pepper-eating competition starting at 4 p.m. The contest will feature participants eating peppers that increase in heat level. Other scheduled events include a wing-eating contest and a trivia challenge at 6 p.m. Vendors will offer various chili peppers, hot sauces, foods, and crafts.
