Berlin launches ninth round of women in culture mentoring program

The ninth round of the “Women in Culture and Media” mentoring program has launched in Berlin. Following a selection process from over 250 applications, 26 mentees were chosen to participate in the six-month initiative.

The program is designed for highly qualified women in the culture and media sectors who are seeking leadership positions or wish to increase their professional visibility. Supported by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the program provides mentees with professional development through individual guidance from mentors, networking meetings, and specialized seminars.

Olaf Zimmermann, Managing Director of the German Council of Culture, noted that previous rounds have demonstrated the importance of external professional perspectives for women aiming for leadership roles in these industries.
