Berlin Marathon features celebrity participants
Several high-profile figures participated in the Berlin Marathon, including TV presenter Kai Pflaume and climate activist Luisa Neubauer. Pflaume completed the race in 3:32:33, noting that his time was slower than his performance in London five months prior due to his training and current physical condition.
Luisa Neubauer completed her first marathon with a time of 4:03:18, finishing ahead of former professional cyclist Rick Zabel, who recorded a time of 4:05:38.
Olympic triathlon champion Jan Frodeno also competed, finishing with a time of 2:23:33 and securing third place in his age category. The event continues a trend of celebrity participation, following last year's run by British pop star Harry Styles.
