Berlin police warn of colorful drug packets left in mailboxes
Berlin police have issued a warning about a new distribution method in which drug dealers place small, brightly coloured packets in residential mailboxes. The packets are said to contain samples of cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine, hashish, marijuana and the synthetic stimulant 3‑MMC, and often include a QR code that links to the dealers' contact information. Police stress that the attractive design targets children and advise residents not to open the packets, to keep them away from children, and to report any finds to authorities immediately. The investigation is ongoing and police plan to increase patrols and public information efforts to stop the practice.
