Berlin-Spandau police detain two men for setting election posters on fire
Two men, aged 24 and 26, were temporarily detained by police in Berlin-Spandau after setting election posters on fire during the early hours of Saturday.
According to the Berlin Police, the suspects threw flammable objects at a poster near Falkenseer Damm shortly before 3:00 AM, and another near Falkenseer Platz around 3:20 AM. Both posters were damaged in the incidents, and the fire department was required to extinguish the flames. The suspects were apprehended in Koeltzepark. While they were released after their personal details were recorded, investigations by the State Security division of the State Criminal Police Office are ongoing.
