Berlin's HIFI/LOFI label marks 20 years with 'Lost Tapes Vol. 1' compilation

Berlin‑based HIFI/LOFI Record, founded by DJ and producer Franz Matthews, celebrates its 20th release with the eclectic compilation “Lost Tapes Vol. 1”. The five‑track collection brings together artists from Colombia, France, Germany, Mexico, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, blending psychedelic, post‑disco and club‑culture sounds. The label says the project “incarne l’éclectisme et l’ouverture d’esprit”. Tracks such as “Mon Petit Ami Le Martien” showcase the label’s hybrid aesthetic.
