BermudAir expands into cargo with Embraer E190F freighter

BermudAir has announced the addition of a leased Embraer E190F freighter aircraft to its fleet, marking the airline’s expansion into dedicated air cargo services. This deployment represents the first use of an Embraer E-Freighter in the Americas.

The aircraft is leased from Regional One. BermudAir CEO Adam Scott stated that the move into cargo is a natural progression for the company, intended to support local businesses, e-commerce, and time-sensitive freight across its existing network in Bermuda, the Caribbean, North America, and Canada.

The E190F will operate as a standalone cargo capability, functioning alongside the airline’s current passenger fleet of Embraer E175 and E190 aircraft. The expansion remains subject to regulatory review and approval.
