BermudAir launches nonstop flights from US East Coast to Belize

BermudAir has commenced new nonstop service to Belize City, beginning with an inaugural flight from Fort Lauderdale on October 26, 2026. The launch is intended to increase accessibility to Belize from the United States ahead of the winter travel season.

The Fort Lauderdale route is the first of five planned nonstop services to Belize. By December 2026, the airline expects to expand its connectivity with additional direct flights from Boston, Raleigh-Durham, Orlando Sanford, and St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay.

The inaugural arrival was marked by a ceremony involving the Belize Tourism Board and officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Youth, Sports and Diaspora Relations. The expansion aims to provide travelers from the US East Coast and Southeast with more direct options, reducing travel times and connections previously required to reach the destination.
