Bernal prepares for Gran Desfile and patron saint festivities

The city of Bernal is preparing for a series of cultural and religious celebrations, including the Gran Desfile and the patron saint festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora de la Guardia.

The Gran Desfile, organized by the Municipality of Quilmes and the Bomberos Voluntarios de Bernal, is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, starting at 11:00 AM at the intersection of Zapiola and Belgrano. The parade will feature educational institutions, cultural centers, sports entities, traditionalist groups, and war veterans.

Additionally, the patron saint festivities include a liturgical schedule at the Nuestra Señora de la Guardia parish. Key events include a three-day preparation period with specific prayers for families and vocations, followed by a central celebration on August 29. This includes a blessing for mothers and children, a gathering of Salesian alumni, and a traditional procession through the streets of Bernal led by the Volunteer Firefighters.
