Bernard Nguene targets Cameroon national team call-up

Bernard Nguene, a 20-year-old Cameroonian striker playing for Standard de Liège, has expressed his ambition to join the Cameroon national team, the Lions Indomptables. Having previously played for Cameroon's youth categories, including the U23 side, Nguene aims to establish himself in Belgium to earn a senior call-up.

Nguene cited Samuel Eto’o as a primary inspiration for his career as a forward. The former Barcelona striker, who is currently the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, remains the all-time leading scorer for the national team.
