Bernard Parker exits TS Galaxy coaching role

Former Bafana Bafana star Bernard Parker has stepped down as head coach of TS Galaxy. Club chairman Tim Sukazi stated the coaching change was football-related and not a result of Parker’s recent personal controversies.

Parker has also issued a statement through the Bernard Parker Foundation requesting privacy and discretion regarding his personal life. This follows a viral social media post that claimed he had split from Kacha Stepanovic and was struggling with “personal addictions.” Parker has since distanced himself from those claims, stating that communications attributed to him should only be considered official if confirmed by him or an authorized representative. He noted he is handling the matter privately with consideration for the well-being of those involved, particularly children.

Esau Mtsweni has taken charge of the team as interim coach following Parker’s departure.
