Bernardo Corradi named Sampdoria head coach as Serie A releases 2026‑27 fixture list

Sampdoria confirmed former Italy forward Bernardo Corradi as the club’s new head coach. The appointment follows a selection process that highlighted his experience as a player for clubs such as Lazio, Valencia and Manchester City, and his work with Italy’s youth national teams and the Milan technical staff under Massimiliano Allegri. Club CEO Jesper Fredberg said Corradi’s “clarity of ideas, analytical depth and leadership” make him the right choice to lead the historic Genoa‑based side forward.

The Serie A governing body also published the full calendar for the 2026‑27 season. The campaign opens on 22 August 2026 with Inter vs Monza and Udinese vs Como, followed by matches including Napoli vs Genoa, Juventus vs Milan and several Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday slots. Broadcast rights allocate the most high‑profile games to DAZN and Sky, while the schedule features no break after the first two rounds and accommodates national‑team windows and European competitions.
