Bernardo Silva faces limited role at Real Madrid amid Juventus interest

Bernardo Silva is facing a difficult period at Real Madrid following his move from Manchester City as a free agent. Despite being a priority signing for manager José Mourinho, the Portuguese midfielder has struggled to secure regular playing time due to intense competition in the midfield from players such as Federico Valverde, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham, and Arda Güler.

Silva has recorded only 282 minutes of play across six appearances, contributing zero goals and one assist. Mourinho has cited the player’s physical condition during pre-season as a factor in his limited involvement.

As a result of his diminished role, Juventus has reportedly renewed interest in the 32-year-old. The Italian club views Silva as a candidate to enhance their midfield technical quality and may attempt to negotiate a move during the upcoming summer transfer window. Other clubs, including AC Milan and Atlético de Madrid, are also noted as potential suitors for the player, whose contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2028.
