Bernau and Eberswalde host regional weekend events

Various regional events are scheduled for the weekend in the Bernau and Eberswalde areas.

In Danewitz, the Erntedankfest (Harvest Festival) will take place from August 28 to 29, 2026. The program includes a ceremonial harvest service at the Danewitz church, a family festival with entertainment, and a traditional harvest parade featuring agricultural machinery. The festivities will conclude with dancing.

In Eberswalde, the ‘Beach & Boat’ event will be held at the city promenade on August 28 and 29, 2026. Activities include boat trips on the Finowkanal, as well as opportunities to try canoeing, polo boats, and SUP boards.
