Bernburg police investigate vehicle fire in Seegasse

Police in Bernburg are investigating a vehicle fire that occurred in the Seegasse area during the night of September 11, 2026. At approximately 01:33, emergency services were alerted to a fire in an inner courtyard where two vehicles were fully engulfed in flames and a third vehicle sustained damage due to intense heat.

Firefighters managed to prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent buildings. The estimated property damage is approximately 35,000 euros. No injuries were reported. Authorities have secured the scene and will use a specialized service dog to assist in determining the cause of the fire.
