Aaron Frisby balances Lake Cowichan campaign with rugby coaching

Lake Cowichan town councillor Aaron Frisby is managing his re-election campaign while serving as a skills coach for the Canadian men’s rugby team in Japan. Frisby was notified of the opportunity to join the team for the Pacific Nations Cup with only three days' notice.

Frisby, who has over 20 years of coaching experience, will continue his campaign activities online while in Japan. Following the Pacific Nations Cup, he is scheduled to participate in the Asia Pacific Seniors Cup, where he will both play and coach for the Canadian men’s touch rugby team.
