Beroe beats Hebar 2-1 in opening match of Bulgarian Second League

Beroe secured a 2-1 victory over Hebar in the first round of the Mr Bit Second League at Stara Zagora, playing behind closed doors due to a stadium sanction. Spanish forward Ismail Fer­er opened the scoring in the 24th minute with an acrobatic finish, and Ivan Tiley equalised later before Fer­er added a second goal in the 67th minute to clinch the win.

The match featured several yellow cards, including to Hebar defender Boris Vakadinev and Beroe midfielder Denis Dinеv. Beroe’s coach Vladimir Manchev praised the team’s tactical discipline and expressed optimism for the season despite roster challenges.
