Berra Akarsu celebrates birthday after overcoming leukemia

Berra Akarsu, a five-year-old girl from Samsun, celebrated her birthday after successfully completing treatment for leukemia. Diagnosed at the age of 2.5, Berra has undergone a long and challenging medical journey.

To mark her recovery and birthday, a celebration was held at VM Medical Park Samsun Hospital. The event included a marching band and a ceremony where Berra and her family released colorful balloons into the sky. Her parents, Murat and Nazlı Akarsu, expressed their emotional relief and joy at her health.

Prof. Dr. Davut Albayrak, a specialist in Child Health and Diseases, confirmed that Berra has completed her leukemia treatment process, noting that the success rate for this disease is high.
