Berry Street and Healthify merge to target GLP-1 market

US-based nutrition startup Berry Street has merged with the Khosla Ventures-backed Indian company Healthify to target the growing market for GLP-1 weight-loss drugs. While financial terms were not disclosed, the new entity will be led by co-CEOs Noah Kotlove of Berry Street and Tushar Vashisht of Healthify.

The merged company will utilize the Berry Street brand in the United States and the Healthify brand in international markets. The deal combines Berry Street’s clinical infrastructure, which includes a network of over 2,000 clinics and insurance-covered services, with Healthify’s AI-driven nutritional and fitness coaching platform.

The move comes as demand for GLP-1 medications rises; JP Morgan projections suggest over 30 million people in the US may use these drugs by 2030. The partnership aims to integrate professional dietary advice with AI-powered meal tracking to scale personalized metabolic care.
