Bertín Osborne discusses health recovery and personal medical decisions

Spanish singer and television personality Bertín Osborne has addressed his recent health struggles and personal medical decisions during an appearance on the program ‘Y ahora Sonsoles’.

Osborne revealed that he has been recovering from serious respiratory issues, including complications from COVID-19 and two subsequent bouts of acute pneumonia. He described his condition as having been ‘a little better than dead’ and noted that medical professionals had identified spots on his lungs, though he clarified they are not considered grave.

Additionally, the 71-year-old entertainer discussed his decision to undergo a vasectomy, a move he made following the birth of his seventh child in late 2023. He shared details regarding the surgical recovery process and the influence of his older daughters on the decision. Osborne confirmed he is now feeling better and has returned to his professional activities.
