Bertín Osborne Hospitalized with Acute Pneumonia, Concert Plans Uncertain

Spanish singer Bertín Osborne has been reported to be bedridden with a high fever and acute pneumonia. Television collaborator Susana Uribarri disclosed that "he is in bed, with quite a fever and has a very acute pneumonia." The illness follows previous health setbacks, including a Covid‑19 infection that left him weakened.

Osborne was scheduled to perform on 31 May in Vila de Cruces, Pontevedra, but his condition makes it unclear whether the concert will go ahead. Despite the setback, he remains optimistic about returning to the stage and continuing his four‑decade musical career.
