Students at the Bertolt-Brecht-Gymnasium in Schwarzenberg participated in various reading projects in cooperation with the Schwarzenberg City Library. One initiative, titled ‘Büchertürme’ (Book Towers), challenged students to read enough books to match the height of a local landmark, the Meissen porcelain bell tower, which stands approximately 7.5 meters tall.

Additionally, students engaged in the ‘Buch Explorer’ project, which served as a kickoff for the Saxony Book Summer. This activity allowed students to examine and evaluate books across different categories through various interactive stations.
