Beryllus Capital and Cambodian business families launch Mekong Growth Fund

A new investment initiative, the Beryllus Capital Mekong Growth Fund, has been established through a memorandum of understanding between UK-authorised Beryllus Capital (UK) Ltd, Cambodia’s WorldBridge Group, and a consortium of Cambodian business families. The fund aims to raise between $200 million and $500 million, with long-term goals exceeding $1 billion. It will focus on growth and infrastructure assets in Cambodia and the Mekong corridor, global public markets, and regional private equity.

Separately, industry experts at the CGS China-ASEAN Business Leaders Summit highlighted the need for ASEAN public markets to improve investability and regulatory transparency to attract more Chinese capital. While trade between China and ASEAN exceeded $1 trillion in 2025, panelists noted that fragmented regulations and liquidity constraints remain significant hurdles for foreign investors navigating the diverse Southeast Asian economic landscape.
