Besançon hosts casting for crime series ‘Meurtres en temps et en heure’
A casting call is being held in Besançon to recruit over 200 extras for the upcoming episode of the France Télévisions crime series ‘Meurtres à...’, titled ‘Meurtres en temps et en heure’. Directed by Leslie Gwinner, the production will take place in Besançon between September 16 and October 12, 2026.
The episode follows a police investigation involving an emblematic figure from the local watchmaking industry. Casting is open to men and women aged 16 to over 70, seeking various profiles including police officers, high school students, watchmaking workers, passersby, and bar customers. A specific role is also available for a man approximately 35 years old with a ‘90s hipster’ look.
Interested participants must attend the casting in person on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the former Saint-Jacques Hospital. Applicants are required to bring original identification, a health insurance card, and a recent color portrait photo. No prior acting experience is necessary, and participants will be compensated according to audiovisual industry rates for one to three days of filming.
